3rd grade teachers, last day to signup for Farm Day, Ag in the Classroom

El Dorado County Ag in the Classroom is pleased to announce that Farm Day will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012. Farm Day, an interactive learning event designed for third grade students, will once again be held at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds. Students, teachers and chaperones will enjoy an all-day field trip while learning about the importance of agriculture in their everyday lives. The event fee is $3 per student for this fun-filled, educational day.

Please register no later than March 1, 2012.

Registered classrooms will receive a confirmation letter in March, complete with event information. There will be a mandatory in service training for all new teachers and schools. This year returning teachers are not required to attend but we require that at least one teacher from each school attend.
