Art Association to Offer Workshops

There is a wide variety of workshops to choose from including watercolor with Tracy Lewis, gourd design, colored pencil painting, illuminated letters, needle felting and jewelry construction.
If you are someone who enjoys learning new things, you might enjoy participating in one of the eight mini workshops that the Placerville Arts Association is offering during its 46th Annual National Mother Lode Art Exhibition to show at the Placerville Shakespeare Club on Bedford Avenue. Deadline for sign ups is Aug. 1. Workshops are open to 18 and older.
The workshops will be taking place during the two week show from Aug. 12 through Aug 24.
The work shops are scheduled to start at noon and run three to four hours each. Participants in the classes will be learning about and creating art and taking it home by the end of the workshop.
All workshops are $35 per session with $15 of the proceeds going towards art scholarships..
