El Dorado Hills Online Insurance Company Intelliquote Reports Record Growth

El Dorado Hills based-IntelliQuote, an online life insurance agency, reported on Monday that it achieved record growth in online applications in the first half of this year.

That boost in business is occurring throughout the life insurance industry as the economy slowly improves and as consumers gain some confidence, the company said in a news release.

The number of IntelliQuote’s online applications increased 18 percent in the first quarter of this year compared to the first quarter of 2011. The company saw an 11 percent gain in the second quarter compared to the same time period last year.
