Something to Think About: C’mon Dave — Man Up

Dear Dave, At the June 26 Placerville City Council meeting, a few residents wanted to talk about you during public comment. They were angry about your actions and unhappy with the gracious tone of the letter the city sent in response to your June 19 letter of resignation from the council. They objected to the appreciation the city extended on behalf of your contributions to the city and they didn’t think you deserved being wished well in the future. Most especially, it was clear from the mutters around me, they objected to your performing your 960 hours of community service in a foreign country instead of the community in which your actions occurred.
