The Placerville Natural Foods Co-op announced the grand opening of its new juice bar.
The juice bar currently has six freshly squeezed, made-to-order juice blends created with local organic fruits and vegetables. One of the most popular blends is the Mickey, which includes fresh celery, carrots, beets, apple and ginger.
The juice bar is located in the full service deli which will offer made-to-order sandwiches.
“The juice bar is fabulous and the only one I know of in town — I can quickly stop in when I need a healthy pick-me-up,” said co-0p customer, L. Owens.
The Placerville Natural Foods Co-op officially opened last October and is a member owned natural foods cooperative store and is open to the public. Membership is not required to shop there.
The co-op’s mission is to source natural and sustainable food and products from local farmers and food producers. The co-op is located at 535 Placerville Drive in Placerville.
