Hangtown Kennel Club Obedience and Conformation Classes Resume

Classes offered include conformation (practicing the handling of your dog for AKC breed classes); puppy kindergarten; novice, beginning and intermediate obedience; and competition novice rally.

Classes continue Thursdays each week at 7 p.m. through August 16. For the July 12 start only, dog owners are asked to arrive by 6:30 p.m. for the registration process and fitting of collars and leashes.

Pre-registration is required for all obedience classes. Puppy and beginning obedience is $90 (includes leash & collar). All other obedience classes are $75 for the six-week session. Conformation classes are offered on a “drop in” basis, at $5 per class. Proof of all age-appropriate vaccinations is required at the first class.

The final session of 2012 will begin Aug. 23 and run through Sept. 27 at the fairgrounds.
