Autotronics of Cameron Park adds a 5-10 p.m. shift

There is now an auto repair shop in El Dorado County that is open until 10 p.m. to handle all those after 5 breakdowns as well as ongoing repairs and service work. Called Autotronics, the Cameron Park auto repair shop has been offering the usual 8-to-5 service for almost 12 years. But then Rick Pitzner, general manager of Autotronics, noticed that often as he was getting ready to leave for the day, somebody would show up needing an emergency repair job and nobody was around to help them. So he and the shop’s owners — Rod and Serena Posner — decided that it might be a good idea to extend repair services into the evening.

So since January Autotronics has been open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Tuesday through Friday. On Mondays and Saturdays they are back to their usual hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The additional evening hours now makes Autotronics the only auto repair shop in the county open until 10 p.m.. Generally ...
