

There will be a 13-hour Fourth of July party, “The Patriots Party in the Plaza” at the Pony Express Plaza, at the corner of Sly Park Road and Pony Express Trail in Pollock Pines on Wednesday, July 4.
Cris Alarcon, PRpond, July 3, 2012A pancake breakfast will be served at the old fire house, staring at 7 a.m., followed by a giant craft show from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the El Dorado Savings parking lot.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be a carnival festival at the Community Church, which includes bounce houses.
From noon to 1 p.m., the annual Fourth of July Parade will travel down Pony Express Trail, followed by hot dogs, root beer floats, and parade trophies from noon to 3 p.m.
Starting at 5 p.m., patriots can listen and dance to live music at the Pony Express Plaza.
Organizers invite everyone to come on up to Pollock Pines.
