Friends and family members of 19-year-old Linnea Lomax are holding out hope that she will return home safe, and soon. They held a vigil at the Cold Springs Community Church Sunday evening, in Lomax's hometown of Placerville.
Lomax has been missing since Tuesday and is considered an at-risk missing person by law enforcement. She disappeared after suffering a mental breakdown. Lomax was a straight-A student at UC Davis and became increasingly overwhelmed while studying for finals. Her family put her into treatment.
She was last seen at an outpatient facility on Howe Avenue in Sacramento.
