  Live music, kid’s activities, food vendors, contests and games… and you thought Fair was over!  Enjoy Fourth of July with your friends and family at the Annual Fourth of July Family Blast at the El Dorado Fairgrounds! Offering a variety of activities for people of all ages, Blast has become a tradition for many families in the area. 

Paula Keiffer attends Blast every year with her family and insists it just doesn’t feel like Fourth of July without being at Blast,  “Our family has been coming for years… it’s such a fun time spending the night with friends and family, and watching fireworks together without having to deal with the hassle of entertaining at our own place!”  

Kick back and relax on Wednesday, July 4 on the main lawn area as the kids wander through the hay mazes, play games and perfect their handicraft skills at the arts and crafts area.  Gates open at 4pm, but the real fun begins when the live music and dancing gets started at 6pm. Pack your coolers, propane BBQs and picnic baskets with your favorite treats or purchase food from the food vendors throughout the night.  Then stick around for the best part of the night, fireworks!

Admission is $3 per person and children six years old and under are free!  Parking is available for $5 per vehicle.  Save money on gas and admission by carpooling to the event – $15 per carload, which includes parking on the grounds and gate admission for up to six people! Join us at the El Dorado Fairgrounds for a night of fun activities, music, good food, and of course, fireworks!
