Placerville costumes its bell tower as a giant beer stein for next weekend's Bell Tower Brewfest, with more than 35 craft breweries. Music from live local bands, shopping and dining go late into the night. 6-9 p.m. Saturday. $30. (530) 672-3436. www. placerville-downtown.org
